Notes
It's bone chillingly cold outside today and the sky is gray. A dusting of snow would be nice to pretty up the place.
I'm layered in my thermals and sweaters to keep me warm but the fingers are cold typing on the computer.
Today is a quiet day of working on projects at the home. Brother is quietly entertaining himself. The evidence of a chair left by the counter and a pile of cracked egg shells tell this detective that Brother has helped himself to a hard boiled egg. He was hungry and decided to get something to eat. This is how Attachment Parenting promotes independence. I'm proud of my 3-1/2 year old guy.
This weekend I took Sister for her 9th Birthday to a concert. We saw Peter Seeger and Ani DiFranco. She loved it and was on the edge of her seat. It was a jewel of a moment in this mothers crown. Spreading leftist ideas to the next generation was a more desired experience than attending the over commercialized and far overpriced Hanna Montana Concert. We supported a cause. She is proudly wearing her Red Circle Slash Indian Point Button today to school.
Furniture has been rearranged in the music room. Other people might call it the living room but the piano dominates that room. We play music and dance under the Juanita Billboard. The piano is now at the front of the room and is making the front entrance much more grand.
Painting projects are getting done and I am hoping to actually see the powder room remodel completed this year.
A game of Hi Ho Cherry O awaits!
