Sarong to Summer 2007.
It's been a good one.

The blue IKEA bag has been perpetually packed with clean towels, sunblock, bug spray, hats, extra dry clothing, snacks, swim goggles, picnics, the secret stash of extra cash, books and a game or two.

Neatly tucked inside the bag now almost ready to store in the cabinet, are memories of lazy days at the pool and all of the other memories that made this summer fly by.

In no particular order and you'll have to guess who learned what.

Learning how to play the violin. Potty Training! Going down the "Half Pipe" water slide all by herself! Going to camp and learning the "Snapping Turtle" song from Miss Jane. Making new friends. Growing closer with old friends. Pot luck BBQ's. Learning new words. Finding a new career. Painting the ds bedroom. Road trip with Aunt's and Uncle's (without Mom & Dad). Bellydance workshops. Sleeping late. Catching lightning bugs. Pajama days. Late nights. Learning how to make California rolls. A new bikini one size smaller 'cause I needed it. Trips to the city with niece. Sewing costumes. Hosting family visits. Bounce houses. Walks around the block. Mowing the weeds. Rainy days full of Connect Four, Shoots & Ladders and Candy Land. Splashing in mud puddles. Evening breezes on the Hudson. Spontaneous trips to the Queen of Dairy. Margaritas. Corn on the Cob. Keeping in touch with friends through blogs.
