A Humble Moment

Okay, I'm stealing some time to check in with the 3 peeps who actually look at this blog.

The holidays were great. We finally hosted some parties at our home that included friends. It's taking a while to make them in this car commuting culture. There are people you wave at but never ever say a word to.....

It was joyful to see a house full of people having a good time.

The DS (2-1/2 years old now) loved opening presents on Christmas morning. After the fourth one it became a job. I am going to vow to ask Santa to bring only a few toys. No more.

After digging out of the wrapping paper and Christmas decorations it was time to get a birthday party together for the DD. She turned 8 yrs. on Jan. 5th. We've been trying to figure out a fun birthday party theme for about half a year. Turns out a spontaneous pizza party with cake and one of her best friends was just fine.

Now it's back to school and the full routine. Gymnastics class once a week for both the kids. 2 rehearsals a week for me, yoga class once a week, walk the dog, clean the house, plan meals, change diapers, play games with kids, walk child to and from school.
